Moroccan cooking tagine in terracotta, painted and varnished by hand.
We have two models one without and the other with metal strapping and wooden cuffs which add strength to the utensil and allow the dish to be carried when it is hot.
It is used daily in Morocco. The rendering of this form of cooking is unique. It allows healthy and traditional cuisine which faithfully reproduces the flavors of Moroccan cuisine. To be used on gas or in the oven, the tagine must be placed on a protective metal plate.
